North Pacific Right Whale, Gwithian 04/08/11 2:37pm
Today I drew two whales . There was a strong wind that was swirling the water around and left patterns in the sand as the tide went out. I drew a gray whale on the usual stretch of sand and a north pacific right whale nearer to the rocks,  which I could then climb afterwards to see from above.

I always put my feet in the ocean and rinse my face in the water after every drawing.

    These are lovely, the scale is awesome and I love that you enter the water before you leave - a connection to both the drawings as they disappear below the tide and actual whales in the oceans.
